Duties
  1. Before church fill the communion glasses (we have plastic and glass) with grape juice and place the bread on the plates.
  2. Put the communion serving trays on the communion table on the rostrum.
  3. After church collect the glasses from the pews and the communion serving trays from the rostrum table.
  4. In the kitchen, wash the glasses and return to labeled cupboard. Throw plastic glasses away.

  • There is a clipboard above the kitchen sink to write needed items: juice, bread.

Frequently asked Questions

​Ministry:  To provide warm hospitality for our church members and visitors.  Teams are cooking every week providing the meal.  The decorating team prepares the tables for each month — decorations can last for a month.

What to do:
  • Decorate the tables in the fellowship hall with plastic table cloths and simple decorations to fit the season, holiday, or your whimsy
  • Decorations  are for the full month.  We decorate 3-4 tables in the fellowship hall.  Decorate the tables and have them ready for the first Sunday of the month.  You are welcome to do something nice on the bulletin board if you wish.
  • In the small storage room by the fellowship hall are shelves for our decorations and table cloths.  Anything in this room is free to be used.  There is a good supply of plastic cloths there now for you to use or you can provide what you like.

Online:Ideas: Google Bulletin Boards, Bulletin Board borders, table decorating
